Lamar Odom’s arrest was August 30th with a DUI charge after cops pulled him over on the 101 freeway for driving too slow. He refused to take any blood and alcohol tests which resulted in him losing his drivers license.
Odom was not in Van Nuys, CA courtroom this morning for the scheduled arraignment– but his attorney Richard Hutton was. Odom’s case was put on hold as his attorney requested a continuance.
Leg dropping, now DUI, what a year for singer Miguel who has been charged with 2 counts of drunk driving stemming from his August 15 arrest in L.A. He was initially stopped for excessively dark tint on the windows of his 2013 BMW X6, and during the stop, cops suspected Miguel had been drinking.
Law enforcement sources say Miguel was cooperative during the bust with a blood alcohol level of .10. Miguel’s case is scheduled to go before a judge next week.
I don’t understand these celebrities sometimes, why put yourself in that position when you can call a driver, a cab or even pay a fool at the club to take you home? With that being said, DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE
Lamar Odom has had a rough two weeks. Last week there was reports that Lamar has been battling a drug addiction for the past two years that had his marriage with tv celeb Khloe Kardashian on the rocks. It turns out that Lamar has been using crack cocaine for the past two years. Now it’s been reported that Lamar was arrested early Friday morning for suspicion of DUI. Police say they spotted Odom in his white Mercedes sports utility vehicle driving erratically on the 101 Freeway in San Fernando Valley. They state they tried to pull Odom over, but Odom kept driving. He went past three more exits before finally exiting the express way. He was booked in jail Van Nuys around 5:01am this morning. Odom showed “objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests as explained and demonstrated,” according to a CHP report. He’s being held on a 15,000 bond. Odom seems like he has officially hit rock bottom, and is in need of serious help. I think it’s safe to say that he should get help before even thinking about stepping foot on a NBA basketball court. Prayers are with Odom and his family.
Atlanta Hawks head coach Michael Budenholzer says he was not driving drunk when he was arrested for a DUI last night.
Budenholzer was arrested in Atlanta around 10:30 PM Wednesday night … after a Georgia State Trooper noticed the NBA coach’s car had a broken taillight.
During the stop, cops say they noticed a strong odor of alcohol on Budenholzer’s breath — and asked him to submit to various field sobriety tests, including a breathalyzer.
According to the incident report, obtained by TMZ, MB agreed to everything BUT the breathalyzer … and then proceeded to perform poorly during the other field sobriety tests.
During the arrest, Budenholzer reportedly admitted to having consumed 1 glass of wine earlier in the evening. He was arrested and hauled to a nearby jail.
Budenholzer was eventually released from custody around 3:45 AM this morning (5 HOURS after the initial arrest) … and his lawyer says the coach went directly to a local hospital where a blood test revealed his B.A.C. was less than .01.
Budenholzer has since pled not guilty to DUI — and released a statement saying, “I apologize to the fans and to the Hawks organization for any negative attention this incident has brought upon my family and the organization while the legal process evolves and I contest these misdemeanor charges.”
Budenholzer was appointed NEW head coach and didn’t even start the new season with the players yet before getting arrested. How can you mess this up already.
