Dusty Baker was fired as the manager of the Cincinnati Reds. This after the Reds went on to lose 7 games in a row including their loss to the Pirates in the Wild Card playoff game. Dusty, who’s 64 spent the last 7 seasons in Cincinnati and has reached the playoffs the past 4 seasons but has never won a playoff series during his tenure. Dusty leaves Cincinnati with a 509-463 record. Joe Girardi will become a hot commodity this winter with all of these head coaching jobs becoming available.
